Darin McMichael graduated form Oregon State University in Forestry in 1997 and has worked for both state and private industries over the years. He started working with C&D Lumber Co in 2000 and worked with both the mill and the Silver Butte Timber Co lands. He really enjoys working for a smaller, family owned and operated buisness. Darin is involved with all faucets of forest management from planting new seedlings and managing timber stands to harvesting trees and getting logs to the mills. Both C&D Lumber and Silver Butte Timer Co have sold logs to PUR for stream restoration projects and participated in stream enhancement projects. 

As a professional forester Darin feels that his education and experience has been an assit while working towards the goal of sustainability and watershed protection and enhancement in the forest setting.
